They get no more out of the government and probably less than a poor person who pays no taxes. As for creating jobs I have known quite a few people who will refuse to earn past a certain amount
a year due to getting into higher tax brackets. I could imagine business owners in California not expanding if they were making close to a $1 million a year if they were opposed to paying the millionaire medical tax.
I meant to go back and answer this, but kept putting this off. I was speaking in terms of giving rich people and corporations tax breaks and subsidies. It's proven the the money given back wasn't put back into the economy, but it went straight to their bank account. Corporations are sitting on 5 TRILLION in cash reserves, yet they keep avoiding paying taxes and putting that money back into the economy. Yet our idiot politicians keep giving them more tax breaks and more subsidies. Corporate welfare makes social welfare look like a complete joke. It's ok if the old rich white dudes take free money from the government, but fuck that dude Jerome for getting food stamps because Walmart pays him below the poverty level.

Idle corporate cash piles up | David Cay Johnston

I don't think the rich should be taxed any differently than people living above the poverty level. What I do get tired of hearing is those people making the case that rich pay more in taxes than poor people do. What these people don't tell you is that they are paying way less in percentages, and that's the true numbers. If it's ok and great for a guy to make 100000% greater than my salary, why is it ok if he only has to pay .0001% of his taxes while I'm paying 20-30%? Granted the numbers are made up, but I'm illustrating a point. If I'm paying 20%, he should too. This is what we call FAIR and just. If they don't like it, how about we match salaries and I'll pay what he is paying.

For a small business, yes. When you start dealing with corporations and LLCs, there is limited liability so whoever starts the company can walk away with their belongings intact. Hell, even small businesses can file bankruptcy. Most of the time, that "capital" is fronted by a bank anyways.

In the end, it's the workers that make a company go. Should they all be paid the same? Of course not. Should they not be rewarded as the company grows? Absolutely.

Normally I would agree with you.

According to some other people, he had paid for this message for several boards before his death in 2007 if I'm correct.

It was in conjunction to the Wall street image .So Obama had nothing to do with it .

Every politician uses the strategy of repeating their point of view to propagate their personal propaganda. That's why I separated out and specifically referenced only the 2nd picture.

LOL. So you think Obama has nothing to do with Wall Street? The continued bank bailouts should tell you all you need to know about what side of Obama's bread is buttered.

On the second pic, do you also think Sarah Palin said "I can see Russia from my house."? The Bush quote, where there was no big pause only before the catapult line:

"See in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again, for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda."

and the Leftist keeps repeating the phrase "catapult the propaganda". LINK

Reminds me how Romney's comment "binders full of women" has been twisted and nitpicked to death, like in this article: "As I was serving as governor of my state ... I had the chance to pull together a Cabinet and all the applicants seemed to be men. I went to my staff, and I said, ‘How come all the people for these jobs are all men?’ They said, ‘Well, these are the people that have the qualifications.’ And I said, ‘Well, gosh, can't we find some women that are also qualified? So we took a concerted effort to go out and find women who had backgrounds that could be qualified to become members of our Cabinet. I went to a number of women's groups and said, ‘Can you help us find folks,’ and they brought us whole binders full of women. I was proud of the fact that after I staffed my Cabinet and my senior staff, that the University of New York in Albany did a survey of all 50 states, and concluded that mine had more women in senior leadership positions than any other state in America."
