What do you mean by "letting go"? As in not worrying about re-signing them, sending them down to AAA regardless of their contracts, or like actually cutting them?

Two years ago I debated which Nats jersey to get. I wanted a position player and althoug I like Zimmerman and I loved Pudge I wanted to get a young player's jersey so it would last awhile. At a game, I debated between Desmond and Espinosa and Danny just happened to hit a huge HR so I went with his jersey.

As in their lockers have been cleaned out and they've been designated for assignment, basically waived

Interesting. I can't say I'm completely surprised because they've both been dog-poo this season, but still! You'd think someone would give up something for either of them based on their "potential".

Guess I won't be wearing that Espi jersey to the game tonight!
