Re: Best Redskins Offensive play of 2012
Yeah I mean that Griffin run was amazing and is definitely the most memorable of all skins fans.
The game he had against Dallas on Thanksgiving had a lot of great plays, as did New Orleans. I could post the ones you all remember very clearly, but I'm going to post the ones not many people talk about. QB Griffin to TE Davis, 26-yd, pass - NFL Videos This was a great play by Fred Davis and an equally great play by RG3. It was this throw that made me drop my jaw and just go "Wow..we really do have that franchise QB now." The next play which doesn't really get talked about (probably like the other one because they didn't result in TDs) was against Dallas when DeMarcus Ware and RG3 were at full health. Griffin showed to us again, as well as the whole nation, how quick his release was. Sure the play was just a first down gain, but if RG3 holds onto that ball a millisecond longer its a sack or sack fumble or incomplete and he just got drilled for nothing. Its a play like this that separates him from other QBs in the NFL. And if you all want a TD from a loss..
