i think cherrios just does a zillion family setting commercials and eventually one of the families had to be inter-racial. just probability and statistics. to do 1000 different family commercials and none of them to be inter-racial would be .... intentionally avoiding showing inter-racial family = some form of watered down racism i suppose. we are an inter-racial family and i gotta tell you something. at least in baltimore in 2013, ppl are overly nice to us .. its like we are a beacon of social progressiveness or something. like a white dude and black girl taking their baby out for a walk = some kind of counter-balance against some other evil being done in some remote corner of the world . . . idk maybe i think too much into it. or maybe the counter balance is when cabs will not stop for her so i have to hail them down for us .. now that is some eff-ed up stuff right there.
