I don't think that is very fair to Reed. They may be similar players in the field, but off of it there is nothing that says Reed is anything like him. As far as this being a reason for players to be careful, well I think this players problems go back to highschool.

But yeah proper law abiding citizens shouldn't be involved in murder cases as a good rule to live by.

I didn't mean anything against Reed nor did I mean to imply that Reed and Hernandez have similar personalities. But Hernandez is his "elder" in a sense and thus may have been a role model to Reed. Hopefully Reed sees him, and the need to avoid off-field problems, in a new light.
