I wonder if the NFL will not allow the position, because of the Jersey number by position. What I mean is WRs for example, are only allowed to wear numbers 10-19 and 80-89. So if you create a new position, what numbers could you wear at this new OW position. What stops a player from wearing 55 or 69 or 97?

This reminds me of when Lorenzo Alexander wanted his official position to be "athlete"
