I agree, another year of missing the playoffs and he's probably toast.

Kelly gets somewhat of a pass as a rookie HC.

Coughlin has two recent SB wins, nuff said.

Shanahan is coming off a div title and also has 2 SB wins under his belt.

Yeah, Garrett has done nothing since taking over for Dough Boy. He has the most to prove because his seat is the hottest.

I think its Kelly all the way. Is he the second coming of Steve Spurrier with a new fangled college offense, or is he the real deal?

Shanahan and Coughlin have nothing to prove, and Garrett has Jerry Jones making all the decisions anyway, so any failures or successes will or should be put on Jones. I think Garrett is a puppet head coach anyway.

I look at it this way... Who would be more likely to get fired if their team went 5-11 this year, Garrett or Kelly?

I don't agree tht Shanhan has nothing to prove. Coughlin doesn't since he's won multiple Super Bowls with the Giants in the last several years. But Shanahan hasn't done a whole lot here in Washington yet. He had a successful season last year, but he has to show that it wasn't a fluke. If we miss the playoffs this year, Shanhan won't be fired, but it's not gong to be like in NY, where Giants fans know Coughlin can get them back in the playoffs the following year. Shanahan needs to prove that he has turned this team around and that the Redskins can sustain consistent success with him at the helm. And I believe he will.
