Last year we were exceptional at QB, RB, and the left side of the O line. Of those three, the position most likely to return to in 2013 is QB, but I can't say it's a sure thing. I think it's likely, but not certain.

A team that is exceptional at QB but average through out the rest of the roster can make a pretty nice run. And there will be some role players who chip in with excellent years. There will also be role players who need to be replaced due to lacking performance.

Any hopes of super bowl contention this year are on Robert Griffin to be exceptional. And he's a good guy to bet on. He just doesn't have a ton of help. It's a roster of role guys. I think he's going to get a stronger contribution from his defense this year, but he's the focal point of everything we do on offense.
I agree and disagree at the same time. I do think there are role guys, but I think that is what Shanahan used to take Denver to the SB. More importantly though, I think it's a team of hard workers. I don't think there are any slackers or me-first guys (maybe DHall, but he seems to be changing), and everyone accepts that its a unified team effort. Everything is setting up pretty nicely, and I think several players who are "role guys" are going to shine, as the system and consistency allows the whole team to play in sync and at a faster speed. Griffin's abilities definitely take the team to a different notch, but with all the reps Capt Kirk has gotten with Griffin's injury, I have very little doubt that he would be able to step in and keep the team moving forward. In fact, he would be highly motivated since other teams would definitely be watching his tape.
