For them to put a picture of the player that beat us in the playoff last season, reopen that wound? Are you serious, NFL?"

Really enjoyable to hear a player voice the same kind of loyalty and 'crazy' that we all feel about our team. Dawkins is one of the very few non-Redskins players that I have deep feelings for (like Mongo).
Still can't believe a baseball team couldn't reschedule one game out of their 1000 game season to accommodate an opener.

I'm sure some fans in Mile High own paintball markers with blue and orange ordinance.

Bring back game-day Shenanigans!

Does anyone else remember when Aaron Curry was specifically described as a "can't-miss" prospect?

His uneventful NFL career has ended.

Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)

Jets' 3rd-string QB Greg McIlroy sprained his knee in practice.

Mark Sanchez - hurt and is Mark Sanchez
Geno Smith - plays like he's hurt and can't read NFL defenses
Greg McIlroy - hurt

They just signed Graham Harrell to play in the 4th preseason game. Geno won't play because if Sanchez can't go Week 1, they'll need him to start! Matt Simms (son of Phil) will start the last preseason game and has a chance to beat out McIlroy.

Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)

There's now some local speculation in Denver that the Ravens might get their own painted end zone in Denver's stadium. A PR guy from the NFL called into a sportstalk radio show in Denver and said they're treating it "like the Super Bowl" and fans will enjoy it, then hung up.

This is all idiotic. The Ravens are the "home" team in Denver. Of course, the Orioles are to blame but it's being handled poorly.

Wow. Talk about no respect. Our backfield of Morris, Young & Helu rated as 19th in the league.

Even if Grossman were our starter, we'd rank higher than that.

Revis has to come back healthy to show he's still the best cover man, but that aside, I complete agree that the guys in the league who show little respect for those who came before them (nod to Darrell Green here) need to STFU. I am with Revis on this one.

Love this quote from that article:

Quote:
As you read this, Sherman is staring in his bathroom mirror, rehearsing his response. Skip Bayless is walking in circles, rambling incoherently.(So, what else is new? )

Yeah. that was pretty awesome. If you want another worthwhile read, whenever we're feeling tortured by our Superbowl drought, you could be a Bills fan (this is hilarious): 32 Reasons Being A Buffalo Bills Fan Is More Painful Than Childbirth

That's pretty much all you can do with a list like that.

According to ESPN, the NFL and players have settled on the concussion lawsuits for 765 million. Thats not all for the players, some will go to medical research.

An article from NFL.com
