Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
Rex is still on the team people. We will have no passing game what so ever if Pat White had to see the field. The defenses would load up the line and all hell would break loose. Remember... No game planning or blitzing going on out there, cool your jets with the Pat White talk. Jeez.

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
Lots of positives....Cousins, Morgan, Hank, Helu, Davis, the pass rush....some negatives too but overall I liked what I saw.

PW looked solid against scrubs. As I said to my wife, PW made another play to a guy you never heard who was covered by another guy you never heard about.
On top of the guys who know say Rex is LOVED by his coaches and teammates. Rex is competent in the base offense. Have not seen that PW is.

But keep in mind our base offense is not what Rex had when he first came to the Skins. and he looked horrid rolling out getting sacked or trying to throw the ball away. Heck even my 16 y/o thought Rex looked horrible and even pointed out how bad the throws were. At one point he said "I can throw a better spiral then that". Rex needs to go. Assistant coach maybe, player he is not anymore. |

Honestly PW or Rex, neither will see action this season. Most likely anyway. Kirk just keeps ballin, I know it's PS but man that guy has talent. We r very lucky to have him, especially after we get a late 1st for him next yr

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
So we gotta be pretty happy with tonight right? I can name less than 10 issues I had and most were minor. Other than general sloppiness resulting in penalties (mostly by guys who won't make he team) it was an overall good showing. Our 2nd string oline got pushed around a little too much too.

Cousins isn't going anywhere next year. RG3 has to prove he can stay healthy.

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
And PW has zero chance of making the team. He is tremendously scheme-limited. We didn't run much of the base offense with him at all. While true that he made some really good athletic plays he did it against scrubadubs. It was fun to watch but won't work once the big kids take the field.

If RG3 stays healthy this year KC will be traded. If he doesn't i can see KC staying around, we have to get value for him while we can.

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
Can someone post some general reactions to the game? I missed the game (I'm out in Kansas City for the weekend), so I'm ridiculously put of the loop right now...

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
I thought the offense looked good especially the first team offense. Cousins looked good. Defense still needs a lot of work it seems. The rookie safeties looked like rookies safeties, neither did anything to really make you confident in them. The corners made a couple of nice plays. There weren't that many starters and it was the preseason so there really wasn't much to go on. The defense was dissapointing though, at least the "first" team D.

The Bad: First, Im worried about our Oline depth...McRib, Pashos werent good at all. Compton was meh. Big plays giving up on defense, not cool, but im not worried. Special teams coverage was really bad, but just first game need to improve.
