I hear what you are saying, and a part of me has the same gut reaction, but I have to admit that it is pretty amazing as a Skins fan to have a spotlight on our qb, simply because he has all the characteristics of a superstar. Yes, he needs to hold up on the field, and yes he has to play well, but this guy has so far managed all the various pressures perfectly, imo. I am not sure if it was a tweet, or an article that I saw, where Griffin basically said, Look, as long as my teammates aren't offended, then let the media have it's day, but if they (his teammates) start being put off by it, he will end it. Seemed like a very mature response.
