Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

I think that just shows how good Cofield is. It was one preseason game, I am not going to say Pouncey is bad based on preseason game when he has been an All-Pro multiple times. Having one bad preseason game does not mean he still isn't one of the best centers in the NFL. Or now was one of the best centers in the NFL.

I do not understand how refs mess up enforcing penalties. You can miss calls and that is understandable but you are getting paid thousands of dollars each game, at least get the enforcement right.

That's a huge mistake on replaying the 3rd down after off setting dead ball penalties. That's crazy.

Also, that's how you tackle (wrapping up the player and bringing him down).

If you mean devoting your best pass rusher to key on the QB, well yeah. That's what worries me about RG play action to the left. We saw times last year when he showcased how well he knew where receivers would be and quick released it, but he also got slammed to the ground too much.

I don't think the 49ers ever play to their full potential. Green Bay has made mistakes and fought hard to stay in the game despite turnovers and bad breaks b/c they have good leadership. Niners are just a bunch of aggressive idiots.

What a difference an at least marginally adequate QB can make.

How nasty could Detroits offense be now with a legit RB? Think we could see Bush with a 2250+ yard combined season if he stays healthy.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

Carson Palmer doesn't understand how to throw the ball away. Idiot takes a sack to pretty much kill any chance of a game winning drive.
