Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
My heart is out of my stomach, but we still lost a division game at home. Not happy, but at least I can step off the ledge.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
Well they got the kinks out and look like last year's team. Our rook DBs need to grow up soon though GB and Detroit coming up. We need a better pass rush to help them out, especially against Detroit. Nate Burleson is going to have a great year this year.

Well the D line got it together eventually, started stuffing the run and getting to Vick, but yeah we need more if it, and from the start of the game.

Man, I was pissed, still am a little. Rambo looked like a rookie tonight, need him to make those 1 on 1 tackles. Overall though, not a bad 2nd half. I'm just going to pretend that the 1st half didn't happen. We'll have the Eagles number next game though.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
The first half was a needed throwaway for Griff to get his game day bearings. I would have been much more worried if the offense didn't get back on track. Decent momentum heading into next week. Packers are going to be tough at home.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
at least the garbage time TD made it seem close.
that first half was terrible. defense couldn't tackle and offense could stop shooting itself in the foot. second half was better. i think a lot of it was not knowing what we were facing from chip kelly and RGIII getting back into live NFL action. I'm not too down, but that first half was rough. |

Credit go to the Eagles. They were the better team. The game wasn't as close as the score indicates.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
People need to remember that we had to win 8 straight last season to make it to the playoffs. Being 0-1 is nothing compared to that. We'll be big time underdogs next week, but so what. HTTR!

Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
We played horrible in the 1st half ,and ended up ruffling the feathers of those dirty birds . Sucks to lose , but we showed a never quit attitude .

Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread
One good thing about the Detroit game is that they like to shoot themselves in the foot with stupid penalties also. They could have totally trounced the Vikings if it weren't for some boneheaded plays and penalties.

Good thing the skins don't make boneheaded penalties...

Managed to salvage some measure of respect from that comedy of errors. We may yet have a decent season. HTTR
