I can't consider him the best of all time when he has 8 one and dones in the playoffs, more than double any other quarterback, and a losing record in the playoffs speaks a lot to me. Especially when your defense actually plays well in those games. Its not just all him, it is never all on the quarterback, but I have noticed a significant difference in play when Peyton Manning plays in the playoffs. It is why I consider Tom Brady/Joe Montana/Unitas right now ahead of him. But like I said he can change that easily if he performs and does his part in the playoffs. Stats/Wins/Performance all matter. I think all are overrated by themselves, but all can help paint a picture. |
