Honestly, the safety play has been atrocious all around, and with Fletcher losing a step (it truly pains me to say so as I love the guy), the middle of the field is to be had. And teams have expolited that -- Chicago seemed to work the middle of the field very effectively (think of the Forte 50 yard scamper and the TD pass to Williams). No play up front or even with the CBs (which has been solid) can change that.
