There is a reason nepotism is frowned upon or illegal in most businesses.

Going back to when we were up two touchdowns, what should we have done differently, from that point on?

Who changes the diapers on the team? Especially during crunch time? Is Kyle wearing pull-ups yet?

Mike, have you noticed that the offensive playcalling is a joke? Do you plan to continue to just sit back and watch the ship sink, or do you have the cojones to take the playcalling duties away from your son?

Great game til the second half. Everyone except D Hall and Mr. Morris get a big red D for this effort, some just....... well flunked. And to think if we did somehow improve next weekend on both sides of the ball that we are technically still in the divisional hunt is scary. I am not impressed with our division, say most of the NFL this season. Mediocrity seems to be the name of the game anymore.

You can also forget any notion of Cousins being trade bait. MSU QBs are never anything more than backups. It was hilarious how a Skins fan on the ESPN game blog was actually thinking we could still get a 1st rounder for him.

So you're going judge the guy in a no win situation? He's proven that he can come in and play well. The question is can he be a 16 game starter. I know this, I've seen enough of RG3 that I know that he's nothing special as a passer.

I am still going to wait until after his 3rd year to say whether he can pass or not. I saw some great passes from him when he had a healthy knee.

I am still in the wait and see mode, I've seen good and bad from RG3. He is too young and coming off an injury to declare him a mediocre passer.

I'm tired of the knee excuse. He's healthy. Besides, what does locking in on one guy and holding the ball have to do with his knee? If a defense stops him from running he's a below average QB right now. But it's not all on him. The line gets manhandled and the wr's stink and that's a big reason why we're a two win team.

I'm almost at this point. Dude is a one read QB, I never see him moving his head around until he's flushed out of the pocket and he HAS to look for another receiver. But then again, the WRs aren't doing any him favors, rarely is RG3 holding onto the ball for less than 5 seconds.

You will not get a 1st rounder for him period!!!!!!! Remember Smoker and his predecessors? Good QBs but not starter quality. MSU players(QBs anyway) generally do not make good NFL caliber starting material, but do make decent backups. My point is that Kirk isn't going to garner any teams 1st round pick. If they need a QB that bad they will draft one in the first round anyway. Right now RG III isn't looking so hot, and might become one of the greatest over hype jobs in NFL history when it is all said and done. We need Cousins as a solid backup and part time starter til we sort this mess out. If Shanny does get the boot after this season or next, the new HC might draft yet another QB(Braxton Miller if he stays for his senior year?), just as to have "his" guy.

You are probably right about getting a first rounder for cousins, not gonna happen, but you cant judge Kirk from mop up duty in this game.

And to agree with some other posters, damn where would this secondary be if Hall wouldnt have taken that pay cut and resigned with us?
And Morris and Helu both played well.
Did Orakpo ever come back in after his injury?
