Coefield collasped the pocket a couple times. I think we are good there. People, San Diego Oline is not bad. Rivers was completing 74% of his passes coming into the game, he's not getting touched back there.

Yeah Rivers was second in accuracy to only Manning. I didnt realize that until pre game.
I know we have alot of holes to fill going forward, safety, interior /rite side oline, mlb, but i would love to see us get a "beast" in the middle of that down three line somewhere.

I think all the reports have been that Cofield is one of the top NT's in the game. The problem is more of expectations. The DL are supposed to be controlling the line, with the LB's making the big plays. Overall, I think our 3-4 front 7 is our strongest part on D, with Fletcher's limitations being the weakest link in it. Riley, Kerrigan, Jackson, Rak, Jenkins, Cofield Bowen all bring it to the opponent all game long (except Denver in the 4th quarter )

yeah that call and the WH fumble non call was just a shame. The NFL really needs to clean that shit up

It is definitely the strongest part of our d, but look what we are comparing the front seven to - the back four. Lol. I think as per expectations the secondary is playing better than the front 7. As per expectations.
Edit: rak and kerrigan have been slight disappointments. Hall is playing out of his head. Amerson is holding his own. Without looking at the numbers and based solely on the eye test this years backfield seems head and shoulders above last years hot mess.

It seems like the worse a team gets, the worse the refs and TV crews are.

Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame

After watching the film.

Kyle did a lot more of moving the pocket and it showed as we didn't give up a sack all game.

Kory L is a liability at the moment on the offensive line. It's a shame that Rib digressed. He got pushed around a lot and barely had the advantage.

Hank really puzzles me. The guy has such a large catch radius but he doesn't use it. I can't understand why he just doesn't attack the football. He waits for the ball to come to him, and sits on his routes. He tries to catch with his body way to much.

Reed's blocking was WAY better and gets better every week. On Alfred's long run he not only chipped the end from making the play, but went to the second level and sealed another defender. Very impressive..

Yeah, I noticed that, too. He still has some work to do but he is light years ahead of where he was in the preseason in terms of blocking.

Thanks for posting that.

Richard Sherman, for all his talk, is ranked at 17. Tsk, tsk.

One interesting note for those who are saying that Kerrigan is disappointing...he's ranked as the #5 linebacker. Not too shabby. Orakpo is #14.

Corners really haven't been the issue IMO, it was the safety play. Now that's improved a bit an corners look way better too.

What I like about Hall is he shows some swagger/attitude no matter what, something we need more of on both sides of the ball. I felt like yesterday was the first game both offense and defense played with pride. Better late than never...

sad isnt it? Horrible Shanny pick. Sad because we need at least 2 new WR this offseason.
