Wow, this piece is interesting. Martin seemed to distance himself from the jump. I think his previous experiences had much different atmospheres from a current NFL locker room. Harvard-Westlake is a prep school catering to a pretty affluent student base and Stanford, is of course, Stanford.

But then again, there are more than a few acclimated NFL players who played for private schools and academically elite universities... this guy probably just had a different makeup.
