Did Collins ever play baseball? Maybe he'll go to Dallas...

if he wants to start it might be either san fran or tampa bay but atlanta is still looking for a veteran qb to backup vick even though they just drafted matt schaub.

I understand this move by NY the cap wont let them have 2 high paid QBs, but I think its a mistake to start Eli right away. Let him sit 8-10 games maybe coming in when the game is out of hand. Then if hes ready start the last ones. Throwing him to the woves is just too much of a rish IMHO.

And guess who Eli gets to play in his second game? Granted it is in New Jersey - But can't wait for LaVar to say "Welcome to the NFL Mr. Manning". Think Williams may have a blitz or two planned for that game?? Manning is gonna get killed behind that Giants O-Line.

I couldn't disagree with you all more. Collins threw for 3110 (not bad) 13 TD's in 13 games (eh) and 16 picks. More INT's than TD's for a player that has been in the league as long as Kerry Collins is unacceptable. I know the O Line was bad, but so was Washington's and Ramsey had a better year than Collins. Ramsey had less yards, but a better TD to INT ratio (14-9). I don't think Collins will fair well in Dallas or in San Francisco. I don't about know, but I think the best situation would be to go to AZ and throw to Boldin and Fitzgerald. Forget Tampa, they're in a world of trouble after losing Lynch and Sapp. Forget Dallas, it'll be the same situation as NY except now they have less of a running game to worry about. And forget about San Francisco, they're aren't really any players on offense for the 49ers anymore.

San Fran, Oakland, or maybe the Rams. I don't think Kerry Collins is worth anything as a QB myself, but he could mentor a young guy.

I just think that to start Eli for the full season most likely throws away this season for them. You look historicaly at rookie Qbs stats and I dont think the rest of the Giants are strong enough to win games with their QB throwing more INTs than TDs. Heck he'll be lucky if his INTs dont outnumber his TDs by 3 to 2.
