no its not good, but not the reason we lost. its not like they totally shut us down, we ran for 191 yards against them. Lost because of innacurate passing by RG3, dropped passes, and no Defense in the 1st half.

Even with them knowing what was coming we still moved the ball on them. it is a game of momentum, if RG3 hits Paulsen on that opening drive and we score a TD to go up 7-0, it would have been a totally different game.

Either way, we didn't lose because the eagles knew our plays, we lost because of execution of those plays.

Not only the execution, but are we seriously running the same game plan game-to-game? Obviously we are enough so that the opposing team can figure out plays on the fly.

I know a lot of people think this is far fetched, but the film doesn't lie. Teams have played us to put us in 3rd downs now. They allow us to run, and practice to NOT allow their LB's to suck up on the play action or running game.

Basically they will allow us to run as long as the LB's don't suck up and allow the posts over the top.

Which basically forces us in 3rd down conversions.

Denver did it.
Vikings didn't ( but we also went more traditional against the vikings, and don't know why we didn't against the Eagles.

This team is the same in Week 11 as it was in Week 5, the last time they played on the road in the division. They lost yesterday because they haven't improved any, despite being pretty healthy that whole timeframe.

YOU need to watch the "tape" again man. Paulson cut out and never made a cut up field. Paulson had actually turned and looked at RG before the pass was released. That play was a straight up bad pass by Griff any which way you cut it up. All he had to do was lead Paulson to the sideline, instead he threw an inaccurate pass upfield. If anything Paulson slowed up a bit to let RG lead him w the pass since the field was so wide open.

I think that pass was a lot further off than a couple steps. If Logan had broken upfield he couldn't have got that one.

And I think there's a new meme for people to trash-talk the Skins on. Last season it was "RG3 will get killed in the Read Option". When it was safer than in the pocket and scrambling where RG3 couldn't control where the tacklers were coming from, and this season's beginning the same mediots wondered "gee RG3 sure is getting hit a lot in the pocket since they aren't running the read option".

Now I think mediots on TV, bloggers, etc., are considering it fashionable to criticize our Offense's playcalling. Opposing players are saying it, which at this point I put about as much stock into as hearing Giants DLinemen call every OL that beats them "dirty". Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think every team scouts every opponent's tendencies. (To the point I think Cooley's infamous pic of his playbook in his lap, there was a question of what the opponent would do when "x" player substituted in). And that's become a scapegoat even among our own players.

I'm not saying "the media" started this (I know people who report the NFL would love us, any team, to go on a tear, makes a great story), I'm saying they're parroting what other teams are trash-talking about us, to the point our own players are saying it.

Why are other teams saying it? I don't think we're any more predictable than other teams, though I welcome any motivation to mix things up more. I think other teams are scared of what RG3 and Co. could do if he fully recovers. And "predictable" is the worst teams can say. People trash Brady for the "dink and dunk" game he plays, They can learn to hate RG3 beating people with smart running and his cannon arm. As long as we don't get a terrible coach if we replace the Shanahans.

But I don't really know. Am I off base in thinking the above?

He might have, but not for ten seconds and thats how far Griff overthrew him by. Lol. That was a bad pass, no way around it.
