Well if all of the other coaches as a group are beating Mike on our poll than we have an answer here. If Extreme Skins wants to keep him than that just proves his time is up.

I haven't posted on this site in a few months cause this season has been a major disappointment. I think we were so excited to have RG3 back for the start of the season we forgot to really look at our entire roster. With the salary cap penalties for the past 2 season of 36 million it has finally caught up to us. Look Mike Shanahan took over a franchise that was in cap hell and a roster that was very old. He had to give up a ton of picks to get RG3 our franchise QB which we have never had before in Redskins Nation. Yes this season sucks due to our record but also the Rams get our final #1 pick for the RG3 trade. I think Shanny should get to come back and play out his final year but he needs to make some changes on his staff. Will he do this is the question if not will Synder force him out and we start over again. If your going to get rid of Mike the guy you wanted after Zorn you better have a upgrade over Mike. The only upgrade over Mike to me is Bill Cowher formally of the Steelers. So i would prefer Mike Shanahan back with a new D-Cord.

Look, I'd love to think that in the perfect world the $36 mill for two yrs in a row killed this team and this is why we are what we are (3-8 team). But then I sit back and wonder how many people and what talent would we get with $36 mill? We need WR, TE, RT, RG, LB, FS, SS, and then back ups.

But that ^ does not explain the crappy Special Teams play. That ^ does not explain the crappy defensive scheme we have had for Haslett's whole tenure.

Personally I like the "Spread Offense" idea. But something has to change on the OL. There has to be better protection, better blocking, and holes made for the RB. Their not getting it done this year. Defensively.... can the whole staff and bring in someone new with a whole new idea of a 3-4 and how to bring pressure.

If Mike Shanahan doesn't voluntarily change his staff, then it is obvious he has to go. If Snyder has to force his hand he should just skip a step and fire him. I don't see how Shanahan can look at the current situation and think these coaches should be back next year. I've said this before, the only group of talent on the Redskins that I believe is respectable is the running back group, everyone else is mediocre or worst.

The entire team sucks and has almost nothing going for it, I still do not think Shanahan has proven to be the man after 4 years.

Shanahan and staff must go either voluntarily or not. period. We need a major roster overhaul.
I've said this before and I'll say it again.. We must go back to a 4-3 defense. It is easier to get the right players when drafting... Most colleges don't run a 3-4 defense. Our OL minus Williams needs to be replaced. We need a couple of wr's. With RAK (if we resign him)and Kerrigan as DE, Colfield, J Jenkins DT (or Bowen). R Jackson WLB, Riley MLB (unless we we can some one better). SLB - to be determined. CB & Safety need to be overhauled. There is no way all the holes can be addressed in 1 offseason...

He was a DE in college and has only played a 3-4 OLB. That would be like putting Demarcus Ware at OLB in a 4-3. He should be a rotational player.

Whether it is a 4-3 or a 3-4 it doesn't matter if the players in it and the coaches that coach it suck.
