If we didn't trade for him, we would have kept our 2012 1st, our 2012 2nd, and our 2013 1st. Three picks we would have used so far.

(and our 2014 1st to come, but who's counting? )

Now the cheeky answer to your question would be: OF COURSE we would have drafted Matt Kalil, Russel Wilson, and Jon Bostic with those picks. Obviously.

Based on who the Rams got (with all the other trading they did), picks probably more in line with what we would have done than the hindsight above, it's debatable who got the better deal.

But let's stop revising the history of the deal, and minimizing what we paid.
