Love Gibbs, but he was living in the past trying to build a team around the RB. That position should NEVER be the highest paid on the Offense/team . Young and cheap is the way to go.

A good RB goes a long way to helping you win a SB. Yes, we gave Portis $50 mil for 8 years. The Broncos gave Bailey $60 Mil for 7 years. While Bailey is a first ballot HOF'er, I don't think we make the playoffs in 2005 and 2007 without Portis.
