Re: Power Rankings Week 2 ESPN
sometimes you just have to get your head out of your ass and realize that being a die hard skins fan doesnt make the team any good. We could have easily lost that game, to the freaking bears...Im pretty sure all the teams ranked ahead of us have the right to brag about the fact that they scored a touchdown...
Our offense and defense could both be the best in the league. The QBs we have arent as bad as our stats show. The playcalling is downright horrible and Gibbs needs to stand up and admit that what he is doing sucks and he needs to make some changes.

i think brunell will be solid, but not spectacular, in the following weeks. people say look at how many yards he threw against the bears, but what they forget is that he didn't throw that many passes vs. them either.

[QUOTE=JWsleep]We only scored 9 points--what do ya expect?
Our D is great, our O isn't--ESPN isn't going to assume we're about to break out, that's for sure.[/QUOTE We allowed the least amount of points. That counts for something. This team is looking more and more like the Ravens of 2000.

Re: Power Rankings Week 2 ESPN
To be honest, I wouldn't mind us being ranked last. Why? So when(or if) we start kicking ass, we can have even more bragging rights and more people will be focused on us. And if we turn out to be a dud, we are already in last place. No point in being ranked high and can't back it up.

Re: Power Rankings Week 2 ESPN
While I in now way expect the skins to be suddenly put in the top 16 or something , even though they are one of the 16 teams with a win right now, they should at the least be put ahead of the eerily similar Ravens, who lost, the Jets who looked absolutely pathetic, and lost, the Rams who lost to the 49ers, THE 49ERS!!!, and the dismal Broncos who lost to FREAKIN MIAMI!!!!
but like others have posted, this type of stuff doesn't really matter, but it does show what teams some people like to suck up too early on and sitting at the back of a few teams' bandwagons, so they can jump off easily when they need to. |

I thinkt he 2000 ravens had more pressure up front and scored a lot more points. |

Re: Power Rankings Week 2 ESPN
Power ratings after the first week, kind of meaningless. Anyway I think we are where we should be all things considered.
