Dan Snyder has an opportunity here to take the road less traveled, AKA the high road (when you can't decide between cliches, use two). Fire Shanahan, don't play his games, just have him pack the office it get out. It costs you more in the short term, but I bet he'll save money in the long run.

Agreed Tripp. We don't agree on much, but I wholeheartedly agree with you on this. There's nothing to gain (and probably more to lose) by keeping Mike here any longer. At least if anything, Redskins fans will be eager to watch the next game just to see how the interim coach does the rest of the way. Right now, even I don't have a desire to watch the last three games.
