I don't agree with the..."he needs more reps" BS. We're 13 games in and RG3 has had a couple good games. Don't ya think he'd still be on the field if he was playing well?? Plus Ben R. and Ryan aren't playing as bad as RG3 is.

Give him the full week with the starters, give him the reps ( in practice) and then give him a few games as well. I don't expect him to light the world on fire though....

the stated reason for possibly benching rg3 has to do with his health and coming off major reconstructive knee surgery. not his performance ... so i dont think the ryan or big ben or eli comparisons are the same situations as none of them have had the offseason rg3 did.

we are talking about a 23 year old with 2 reconstrucitve knee surgeries to the same knee in the past 3 years.

why wouldnt you sit him for the next meaningless 3 games with a lame duck coach and an Offensive scheme that will not be here next year behind a crappy ass O line?

i understand people are pissed at mike im not happy with him either, but taking emotion out of the decision, you have to agree benching rg3 for the last meaningless games is the best thing to do.

the is zero point for him to continue to play for this lame duck coaching staff.

Twice this year opposing players said he shouldnt be playing after playing us.

you can hate mike but agree the best thing is to sit him and protect him.

Again though...it's not about him getting more reps. He's had 13 weeks of reps. He's coming off a major surgery, behind a shitty line and he's not playing well. All reasons to sit him down. MS isn't being 100% truthful but I really don't care. He's not my wife and I don't need him to tell me the truth.

Not sure how you expect him to get better on the bench.

The Cowboys didn't bench Aikman his rookie year when they went 1-15 and he took an absolute beating.

Young QBs that were drafted high are rarely playing under the best of circumstances. But they need to play to improve.

True, but Aikman didn't have multiple knee injuries either. 3 games isn't a big deal. RG3 needs to sit. He's had a bad year and needs to be humbled. Hopefully he'll learn from this and he'll be the player we all want him to be.
