As far as Plummer is concerned, his career was in the toilet until MS signed him. MS wants his QB to live at the facility during the off season and Plummer wasn't willing to do that.

In fairness Elway did the same thing. He struck out until Shanny came along. Looking at the winning percentages without each other though Shanny benefited more from Elway than Elway did with Shanny.
