I'm sorry everyone for my profanity. I've just had a bad day. Again, I'll try not to rant so much in the future.

I don't want the only thing I take out of your post to be,"who cares what Jason Whitlock thinks" but damn. The only thing Jason Whitlock cares about is page views. I think he starts mentally writing every article by asking himself what angle nobody else has taken yet. And then he throws phrases in there like "RG3 spent his offseason rehabbing his swagger" because he knows that will get clicks. I wonder who his sources are, or if he even has any. TL;DR: his opinions are not worth my time.

Re: Kirk Cousins Expected To Start Sunday

So here is a question. What we've seen from Robert in a normal pro-style offense has been from mediocre to downright bad.

Providing a new coach comes in, how long are you willing to give him before competition comes into play? This isn't going to be his rookie year, this will be going on his 3rd year. So how long are you willing to invest time into him before you say enough? What if we start out the season pretty much like we did this past?

That said, do you really want to trade Kirk? Why not keep him around until after year 3 so if Griff doesn't click next year, we have a possible solution at the QB spot.

I'm a firm believer in numbers. 86% of the time they are correct all the time.
That being said, griffin has played dynamically in 50% of his nfl career, and bewn very sub par the other 50%. Numbers aren't in the business of making excuses...that's a job for words. I'm not going to get into o line or injury or any such business of words.
If he reaches 8 games next year posting the same type of numbers as this year, I say pull the plug and try to salvage what's left.
I'm not sure what I like more rgIII, or the idea of a eutopian rgIII. Winning games trumps all, though.

You give him a 3rd year. I feel a lot of what is wrong with RG3 is due to his mechanics and reads. I think a good quarterback coach can fix that. Plus a lot of really good QBs made the "jump" in their third year.

I think you trade him because his value won't be any higher, one thing that has helped a lot of younger QBs is having that veteran backup to help mentor them. Hasselbeck did it for Luck, Griff never had that. So I think we should trade Kirk for a 2nd and a 3rd and sign a potential veteran backup. That can't hurt.
