You are correct.

But IMO Gryphon and Cousins run the offense differently, even if it is essentially the same offense. And Cousins seems to run it more the way that the Shanahans want it to be. Cousins makes different, more "Shanahan" decisions that RGIII.

This might be a reason why RGIII was benched. Cousins seems to follow Shanny instructions more closely than RGIII.
