Bleacher Report, to be accurate, has taken a sharp turn and hired some very qualified/experienced writers over the past couple of years who have years, if not decades, of reporting experience. Of course, they still have the amateurs populating the site.

Jason Cole is not one of those amateurs. Clearly he should have done a bit more digging, and his LaFleur error makes everyone think the whole article must be wrong. But I don't think his reporting was a lie so much as there are people associated with the team who were intent to feed him the lie...and that's the concerning part
