Kouandjio worries me. There are reports of him frequently getting pushed back and beaten despite his clear talent. There are reports of his riding his talent rather than working.

I don't mind grabbing a RT at #34 (Moses would be fine) but IMO we are better off choosing a player who is less of a gamble.

Ironically if you showed me this story any time from week...5 up till the recent reports of RG3 being 'back to his old self' I would have disregarded it. Kouandjio has had 2 years on it now without incident so I think its safe to say he should be fine going forward. Of course there's those pesky rumors of the Panthers and Dolphins targeting him in the first round.

Though I will say Moses [OT UVA] is probably still my first realistic choice (I mean who here wouldn't love to have Robinson [OT Auburn] or Matthews [OT A&M] fall to us at 34 lol).

Greg Robinson is a beast. Far and away the best offensive lineman in the draft, and one of only 3 players worth #1 overall, in my opinion. Khalil Mack and Teddy Bridgewater are the other two. Still haven't figured out why that Louisville QB has slid so far. Freaking ignore the dumba** workouts in shorts; watch the game film, and take in the Bridgewaterescence. Whoever drafts him will get a great franchise QB capable of carrying a team on and off the field and capable of winning multiple SBs. Any talk of Bortles going before this guy is asinine, not because it won't happen(it almost certainly will), but because of the notion that it brings with it, that Bortles is the better QB.

But, hey, what do I know? I'm just some random guy on the internet.

I'm not sold on Moses. Some of the film I've seen on him he's either getting pushed back, not anchoring or when he is blocking someone he's not moving his feet. Questions exist about his work ethic as well. Don't know, not seeing it with him.

Here is my scouting report on Moses [OT UVA].

Absolutely celestial, heavenly finishing big man. Quicker than a jackrabbit on a hot date. So talented he could make an onion cry. The way he blocks is just an easy kiss home with the slickness of his gel.

Blocking style described as simplex. It’s a lovely word: simple and complicated at the same time, and that’s how Moses tends to play. When he fires off his stance at the point of attack he incites an eruption of solar proportions.

Final Grade: Demi-God

In all seriousness though the way he moves does have an easiness and fluidity to it. Almost effortless. He also has experience at Right Tackle which is certainly a plus. If I had to describe him in one sentence I'd say he's a slightly less talented version of Trent Williams. To clarify, basically a lot of the same general attributes with his quickness, power, size, etc but not better than Williams in any one of those categories save size (only 1 inch taller with arms that are a 1/2 inch longer [34 1/4 vs 34 3/4]).

Though if I had to put money on it I'd say the Redskins select Cameron Fleming [OT Stanford]. Aside from the rumors linking him to the team, he's the type of player that has a lot of the characteristics they're looking for, especially physically, but he's not so hot a commodity that they actually might have the option to trade down and still get him. I feel like all things being equal the current front office tries to trade down whenever possible, save of course of the RG3 trade.

In regards to Fleming [OT Stanford] though I actually just realized something funny. The guy is literally a rocket scientist.

This spring he will complete his degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics, so there’s no question about his intelligence.

"Here are five players widely projected to be taken late in the first round that the Redskins should hope slip to them:

DE Dee Ford, Auburn—Let’s face facts; it will be nearly impossible for the Redskins to sign both Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan to long term deals. One or both will be gone by 2016. A defense based on an aggressive pass rush needs, well, pass rushers. Ford, who had 8.5 sacks for Auburn last year and could do better lined up at outside linebacker where he can utilize his athletic ability to elude blockers.

ILB C. J. Mosley, Alabama—He’s mocked as high as 14th to the Bears and as low as out of the first round. The Redskins could search for a long time for someone to replace London Fletcher at inside linebacker. Or perhaps Mosley, the leader of the Crimson Tide’s tough defense, could fall into their laps.

FS Calvin Pryor, Louisville—Right now he appears to be top-20 material but his physical nature could scare off some teams in search of a safety but in fear of drawing too many personal-foul flags.
