I think the big difference is that Zorn was completely overmatched in any role above position coach. Also, those were Cerrato/Snyder decisions independent of the HC search. Gruden has relationships with all of these guys already so the 'conversations' may have been to hold these guys around until after the process so he could decide if he wanted them around as well.

Don't forget that Haz was Gruden's boss with the Tuskers. The choice to retain Haz may have more to do with JG than with Snyder.

Would expect the defense to be very multiple.

But I imagine they will stop two gapping, which makes up (nominally) a 4-3 defense. But Orakpo (if he's retained) will not change positions to DE. Just Kerrigan.
