I've never met anyone like Gregg Williams. He's a unique individual with unique talents, and I hope that he stays with the organization for many years. But I can't see him remaining loyal to the organization if the team doesn't start winning a lot more games. That means Gibbs and his offense must start producing more yards, more time of possession and most importantly: more points. The length of Williams's tenure here will be directly related to how successful Gibbs is over the next few months.

AHHHHH....but this is where Snyder come in......if Williams is paid as much as other HEAD coaches make, even though he's an assistant, he's gonna stick around for a while knowing that he's being monetarily rewarded....of course, there is a point when he will want an opportunity to be a head coach again...I just hope he's content to stick around until Gibbs retires, then become the head man.....

We've had Cerrato, Snyder, Portis, Gibbs and now Williams.... all great interviews with the possible exception of Gibbs... who, quite frankly... isn't exactly the most informative or most forthcoming interviewee in Redskins Park (you know, the guy IS know to hold secretive practices at High Schools and bar the media from practices because he doesn't want to reveal anything) - so to expect him to offer an explanation into his QB change is ridiculous.

But if you want to hang your hat on a Cooley chat forever.... that's cool too.

Ummm.. I don't think he was "hanging his hat" on the one interview. He simply stated his opinion that the Cooley discussion was more informative than the Gibbs chat. It's hard to argue with the statement but it is just an opinion. Exactly what is your point in being here and why now are coming here and bringing up issues from weeks ago? If you have a beef just state it rather than flaming. Then we can discuss the issues.

I don't think anyone here said they expected him to answer the question but many of us felt it was ridiculous to simply avoid asking the question. Who ever heard of a journalist simply not asking a question becasue he thought he knew the answer or knew that the interviewee wouldn't answer? It ridiculous and honestly a little embarassing for you all. If you all don't want to seem in their pocket I would suggest not avoiding controversial issues in your future chats for any reason. Especially lame ones.

I am not a mod for this site and can only speak for myself. I enjoy warpath, I tried extremeskins a few times and found the site interesting with lots of good content. I also found that I had to sift through tons of less than good content and the various avatars and sigs to be a huge distraction and the color scheme to be bearable for only a short time.

The Skins picked your site to meld into their own. Congratulations. I should hope that as part of the deal you should get the best "chats" possible, if only from an access point. At the same time, avoiding the key QB issues when they are hot did seem to be playing right into the "resistance is futile, you will be assimilated" concerns that were voiced by many, many Skins fans who visit more than just one site (including many of your own regulars). I am sure you have a reason for it - but, the whole "we are going to avoid QB questions" seemed to be directly contradictory to the whole purpose of having a fan website serve as the access point to the Skins hierarchy. As for the Cooley chat here, the cheerleader issue came up AFTER our chat with him or, trust me, their WOULD have been questions!

In my opionion, we are a smaller site and to a certain degree have to take what we can get when it comes to inside info. Previously, one of own (JoeCrisp) had been given press passes and given us inside reports. About the same time the Skins merge with Extremeskins, our guy gets his access taken away. Because of that, we have a tendency to be a bit defensive about our site and, perhaps, a little envious of/angry at the access given to extremeskins - which seemed to come at the expense of other fan sites.

Our mods don't go to your site and spit on it and, while maybe some random member may have, I doubt that any of our loyalists did. So, if we want to gripe and thump our chests on our OWN site, why should that be of any concern to you? If you want to trash the warpath, go do it on your own site.

We may be small here but we have a loyal, knowledgeable following who appreciate the different content and feel of this site. There really is no need for you to come in here and shit on us for feeling good about ourselves.

You have your style and it works well for you. Good luck with it and thank you for the good stuff you do post.
