Yep, also just came to post that Ryan Clark is coming to town (for a visit).

OK, but we can't pay him too much or he'll lose his Social Security benefit.

This is flippin' ridiculous. We let him go to Pittsburgh to play most of his good years and now we want to pick him up as he declines. Smells like desperation to me. Bad, bad move, IMO.

thats why the redskins are a joke, instead of solifying one area of need we still have the same problems as last yr. and more problems next yr when we have more free agents plus we still have to sign rak to a long term deal,don,t even know if we are better than last yr.any word on graham and a. smith visiting if we are going to sign them?

Im no expert, but whose there in the second round? I heard a scout say on radio last week the draft was deep at alot of positions, safety was one of the least deep.

Maybe we don't plan to stay in the second. Maybe Kirk and our second move us up into a spot in the first where we get a safety.

Certainly, this safety class isn't as deep as last year's, but there'll be some good ones available in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Calvin Pryor from Louisville(possibly late 1st), Jimmie Ward from Northern Illinois, Deone Bucannon from Washington State, and Terrence Brooks from Florida State will all be drafted in the 2nd-3rd rounds. Pryor and Brooks would probably be our best bets among those listed, being free safeties. My favorite is Deone Bucannon; he's more of a strong safety.

And Philip Thomas?

We're essentially getting an extra 2nd-round talent player with him coming back. We stole him in last year's draft.

Thomas is a year behind and still a rookie. Rambo showed he doesnt belong on the field. Ryan Clark, how much does he have left? Shit give me Merriweather and T Jax.

I always thought the joke on the Skins was making that splash signing for one position, and letting the whole of the roster languish. Guess I misunderstood.
