I just can't believe that we wouldn't lock up Mitchell at a little over 5 mil per year, the guy is really good. His missed tackles could have been coached up (see DeAngelo Hall the past 2 seasons). Maybe we are going to roll with Phhilip Thomas, Merriweather and our 2nd round pick as a safety? Or some combination of that?
