Yeah, not gonna lie I wanted Penn as bad as anybody in here. But now rationally thinking it was smart not to break the bank for him. 30 year old lineman the Bucs thought they could replace even after there season? Makes sense to play it cool and let him go.

The raiders have made plenty of terrible moves in the past, let's see how this one goes...

I agree that we had to get him at the right price, I agree that I wanted a shiny new right tackle that would not get pushed all over the field. I really thought that a solid RT was our biggest need this off season.
I understand that the secondary was terrible last year and we had no real consistent pressure from the D line.
If RG3 does not have time or the confidence to stand back there and throw the ball, then his confidence will go to nothing and he will revert to taking off and running. We have got a lot invested in him, we need a solid oline around him.
