Even if Moses or Bitonio are available, neither are a talent of Bucannon or especially Verrett's caliber. Now, if Su'a-Filo falls, the scenario gets tougher...

Hoping for a run of QBs in the 1st so we can even choose from prospects like Verrett. If Bridgewater, Bortles, Manziel, Carr, and hopefully another QB go in the 1st or very early second(like #34), we'll have some great players available to choose from. Perhaps if Carr or some QB Cleveland likes is available at #34, we can trade down 1 spot and get another pick.

Well you are still going on the premise that Amerson and Thomas are busts of some sort. Also how many "elite prospects" have we seen have their most elite moments before they ever put on an nfl uniform? Look I am not doubting that their might be a better prospect available in the 2nd or 3rd round than one of the tackles or gaurds available. I do know that I cannot sit back and watch Tyler Polumbus let RG3 get killed for another year.

Actually, I think Amerson's a stud in the making. Based on last year, I think he could easily be a top 10 corner in the league. And I loved him coming out as well; in January of 2013, my first month on this site, there was a thread about trading for Revis to which I replied something to the tune of, "Revis would be nice, but he isn't really a viable option. How about drafting David Amerson from NC State?" But that doesn't mean I don't want Verrett as well; he's an ideal fit for a slot corner in the NFL. And good corners are like good pass-rushers; you can't have too many.

On Thomas, I loved him coming out as well. I made a pre-draft post about him too, something like, "Whoever gets Phillip Thomas is one lucky team." And with Bruce Allen saying that they expected Thomas to be a starter last year before he got hurt, I still have hopes for him. But Bucannon's a superior talent and doesn't have the injury issues.

BTW, it's safe to say that after last year's draft, I was ecstatic. Like a kid who had Christmas come early.
