Murphy is a luxury pick and with Moses {OT UVA}still on the board it just doesn't make any sense. My guess is they like Fleming {OT Stan} or Mewhort {OT Ohio St} better but still lets call a spade a spade, at face value today its a terrible pick. Not 2008 bad but still pretty bad. Maybe it'll turn out good but yeah just wow.

I don't know...... If Orakpo is on his last deal, then it is a smart cheap pick to fill his or Kerrigan shoes. Gives a year to get up to speed and learn the system. Next man up, with out having to draft need over BPA. Guys they know more about football than we do, let's keep that in mind.
By the way, not happy about the pick but keeping an open mind.....

Yeah my more heady/logical side is doing that as well but right now my rage filled side just wants to push the big red "PURGE" button on everyone that was here before Bruce Allen.

With Murphy though I guess its nice that we won't have to worry about his work ethic but with Orakpo, Kerrigan, and Jackson just........even if they let Orakpo walk next year certainly they could have gotten a guy next year. I guess at least right now rage and melancholy are winning out.
