Read this article last night while perusing Flipboard (great reading app):

I'd be hard pressed not to recommend this for any casual computer user looking to upgrade from their XP machine to make the leap to a newer machine. The ability to hook this up to a monitor/keyboard/mouse for use at a desk, then pick it up and wander with it to surf the web all in one machine.

Power users wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole, but for the normal user who write a Word document from time to time, check email and surf the web, the 8 inch or 10 inch model would be more than ample power to do these things.
