Re: All things offseason discussion part II

From Tandler:

"Quarterback Robert Griffin III will work with quarterbacks coach Terry Shea next week. Griffin worked with Shea earlier this offseason for a week, but wanted another tune-up before training camp begins July 24. Shea focused hard on Griffin’s fundamentals, including narrowing his base, getting his feet to turn with his body in the pocket and raising where Griffin held the ball -- at times last year he held it too low, leading to a wind-up throw. Griffin clearly has worked hard this offseason."

I think that this is great news for Skins fans. RGIII is doing everything he can this offseason to improve his game. I'm anticipating a big year for him. If he does have a big year, I think there's no limit to what the Skins can achieve. He can be that good, IMO.

PFM Extra: Dallas Cowboys Read Mean Tweets About Themselves - ProFootballMock.com - ProFootballMock.com

If anyone should have had a statue unveiled outside their Alma-Mater it should have been Patrick Ramsey at Tulane. Talk about a statue. I will say this though that college football teams in Texas are having a mini arms race being among the very few willing to build new stadiums as its very rare these days for a team to get a new place in college football. Maybe an upgrade or renovation if they're lucky.

This year Baylor, Tulane, and Houston will have new stadiums to go along with North Texas who had a new field build in 2011.

Ehhh... wasn't Griffin's Baylor career more impressive than Ramsey's Tulane career? Ramsey's numbers didn't even approach Griffin's in terms of completion percentage, rating, and TD-INT ratio. And then there's, you know, the Heisman thing...

Whenever I think of new stadiums being built, I think of this. Just pathetic that a high school would spend 60 million on a stadium, only to find out they hired an architect that designed a stadium with structural problems.

However in all seriousness to SirLK the Ramsey comment was just a crack at Ramsey's mobility, or more specifically his lack there of.

LMFAO at 'will occasionally get outside the pocket.' Yeah maybe during 7 on 7 drills.

You should have ended your sentence after the bolded part. I could hardly believe what I was reading when this clown stated: "This district did everything it should have done with regards to this stadium," Allen Superintendent Lance Hindt said Thursday, according to KXAS-TV. "This is not a black eye, I've said that from the beginning, for Allen ISD, nor a black eye for the city of Allen."

Did everything right? The damn thing should have never been contemplated, much less built! Sixty million dollars of education money spent on a high school stadium? That is insane! Just think what the school district could have done with that money if it were used for something like, you know, education. That's the black eye, Lance, you stupid shit!

Yeah, it seems outrageous, but Allen is a fairly wealthy area, and lately they've invested in some new sports facilities as well as a retail/office complex in order to encourage more population growth in the area. A new stadium for the high school football team makes a ton of sense, especially since high school football is so popular in Texas.

Rg III is for real.

As far as the dollar bill goes, he's either about to snort something or tip a bouncer.

JM is a douche, and I don't believe will last in the league till he gets his head on right.

Was DeAngelo Williams, Carolina Panthers Running Back Duped By a Fake Marine? | Guardian Of Valor

At least Josh Brown or Manziel isn't this big of a douche bag(referencing the fake marine, not Williams).
