I agree that Noll knew how to draft, because he built one of the most talented teams the NFL has ever seen, but I was saying that winning those SBs with Bradshaw at QB is another feather in his cap.

Not really ,there was a lot of tension the Steelers also had a QB named terry Hanratty and many thought he should be the starter . He was the #1 pick of the Steelers in 69 ,Bradshaw was in 70 .

The fact that Pgh drafted TB when they had Hanratty means they werent sold on Hanratty and TB was splitting time with Hanratty in his rookie year in an era when teams took their time developing QBs. There was some tension early in TBs career because he took a couple of years to develop but by the time they started their SB run there wasnt any argument that TB was the starter and TH was the backup.
