If I were an eternally optimistic person, I would say, "Oh, maybe this is a blessing in disguise since it will give the young safeties more opportunities."

But I'm not, and I won't. I'll content myself with a "WHAT... THE... F***!"

I hope they can pick-up a veteran FS who doesn't make it through the last round of cuts. There will several good players that get cut because of contracts etc., and the Redskins are 2nd in line to get them.
