You pay good players good salaries, and elite players elite salaries. Nobody is saying not to pay these guys, it's all about not over paying them either.

You pay what the market dictates. Like it or not Rak is going to be worthy of a pretty significant deal. The team was willing to at least eat his franchise number of over $11M this year, that's saying something.
