Re: Prediction time! the Pre PreSeason Prediction thread
Quote:
Now, we have a healthy RGIII back. I think you ought to believe that RGIII's rookie season was not a flash in the pan because you saw it. You know what he can do. Last season was the aberration. Here is a question for everyone: How many wins is having a healthy RGIII worth to the Redskins? It's got to be worth something. Using last season as the benchmark, we certainly should win more than 3 games with our starting QB healthy. So what's he worth? I think he could worth be as many as five games (from 3 to 5). I'll rein myself in a bit and say 3 games. Now, if you compare the other personnel on this team to last season's personnel, we have to be better overall. We added two excellent WR's who are perfect complements to PG. We signed Hatcher who is the inside pass rusher we've needed. We bolstered the OL a bit. We have our rising star TE back. Hopefully, everyone else will have improved to some degree. That should translate into more wins, as well. We know that our ST's will be better because it's practically impossible that they could be any worse than they were last season. That could help us to win more games, as well. Starting with 3 wins (the same as last season), I would add 3 wins for a healthy RGIII, and another 3 wins for overall improvement. That's 9 wins.
