Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
Judging from the looks of it, he was already told about it during the game. I suspect that guy is somebody from Brown's PR. He doesn't look too happy having to deal with Johnny douche bag's antics.

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
Lol like 6 pages for the first half and barely 1 page for the second half. Though I suspect thats because I have my settings configured to show more posts per page than the default settings..(edit 30 post per page which I doubt is the default, Man I'm such a BA).

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
A few thoughts:
It's August and I'm already tired of seeing Griffin taking unnecessary shots. He really needs to clean that up quick. A mixed bag for the 1st team offense, they were their own worst enemy with the turnovers. All the flags are just ridiculous. I know there's no way this continues once the season starts but come on already. I could barely hang in there until halftime. Nice to see Johnny boy's little meltdown. He's a joke. |

I think for the Skins it was a mixed bag. Defense looked to be a step ahead of the offense.

I think Johnny got really frustrated that he was the 4th best QB out there last night. Maybe 5th best if you count Sexy Rexy.

Man, does Ryan Grant look good out there or what? That TD catch was just smooth all the way. Great move off the line. Heard he's been getting some reps with the ones in practice. Rambo and Breeland made some good plays as well. |

Grant is silky smooth, makes it look easy. I'm really excited about this kid long term. |

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
RG3 isn't going to play 16 games. Now you see exactly why Cousins is valuable to this team. He did some good things and the pass to Roberts was beautiful but his pick was awful. He's still doing the back peddle and holding the ball like a loaf of bread whenever someone gets near him. Climb the pocket dude! Still seeing some of the things we saw last year. I thought Cousins does what he always does, throws a pick lol. Is he ever going to cut down on the turnovers?? But he settled down and ran the offense pretty well. Beautiful fade to Grant. All he does is get open.
Johnny F and Hoyer looked like high school QB's. Their D plays pretty tough and I can only imagine how pissed they're going to be at that crappy offense. Kerrigan looks like he's on a mission this year too. I also think o-line is going to be an issue. Haven't heard what kind of camp Long is having but I can't take another year of Chester. And LeRib was on roller skates a few plays as well. |

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
Two thoughts, maybe 3, from the game.
1st, it was the worst (most boring) preseason game I have been to. I go to one, maybe two, a year and this one was by a great margin the worst. The flags spoiled any flow of the game, and even when it gave us a first down, it just felt sloppy. And the stadium looked to be half empty (I don't know what the official tally was, but around my seats in the 2nd level there were 3 or 4 empties for every 1 that had someone). And that was at half time. I left at the beginning of the 4th quarter, and all the cars around my parking spot were gone by the time I got to my car. 2nd, it is really funny that most Skins fans will acknowledge that RGIII needs to not be stupid on runs, but one of the loudest cheers, including some Oh Yeah Way to Go's, was on RGIII's run where he got triple teamed before going out of bounds. You could feel it electrify the stadium like a defibrillator on a dead man's chest. Hard to convince him not to do it, when he hears the stadium's intensity go up as he's running. and the extra point, well there are no more long extra points, ours was the last game for that experiment for this year. Now can we get back to regular football, with regular refereeing. All those preseason pranks from the NFL can back in the closet till next year thank you. |

Yeah I can see where he probably gets a kick out of running and enjoys the contact to a degree too, but he's gotta wise up already. He does us no good sitting on the bench injured. |

We also get really loud when our team is on offense. It's what happens when you have decades of bad football. The quality fans stop going to the stadium and they get replaced by idiots. Hopefully a few winning seasons will restore the stadium attendee quality level. |

Anywho when you are at the game your IQ drops it is the fun of being at the game. Last night they said the Redskins have finished in last place of the NFC East 5 out of the last 6 seasons. Man we are a bad franchise. I knew that fact but it just really hit home when they said it last night.
