It's because Snyder's been a bad little boy... you know, because of the bad language he uses. Goodell subsequently has sent him to the corner by denying all of Snyder's requests for a playoff spot. Only when Danny tells Daddy he'll be a good boy again will he get his playoff buying privileges back. Until then, he has to earn spots the hard way.
Am I joking, you ask? Of course. Not only is it crazy for me to assume the NFL hands out playoff spots, Goodell has also been outspoken in his support for the name "Redskins." Am I really joking, you ask? Of course.
