Antonio Gates was the difference in the game.

I was surprised by that because the Seahawks took away every tight end in the playoffs last year. I think that game was more about San Diego being a legitimate Super Bowl challenger than Seattle playing poorly.
San Diego didn't play that well last week against the Cards, and I wouldn't call Arizona a SB challenger.

I didn't see the game, but I see that Rivers was sacked only once, so I'm curious to see how well SD's o-line did against Seattle's D-line. I would imagine very well, since their whole defense suffered.

Re: Around the League: Week 2

We could have signed Jonathan Martin and fixed our RT problem, he looks good for the 49ers.

When I brought it up last year I got bunch of shit, like I said before the kid can play and Miami/Incognito wasn't a good place for him.

We are watching a different game. He looks like he is getting eaten alive to me.

Arizona is a good team. They beat Seattle in Seattle last year.

I just think this is more about San Diego actually being a legit contender in the weak AFC more than Seattle still not being the best team in the NFL right now.

Agreed. Probably the most underrated team in the league.
