Watch the play again. He didn't hurt himself on the landing. His left ankle dislocated when he cut sharply upfield to avoid the LB, then he took one more step and jumped from his right foot, then threw the pass. I believe that he jumped to avoid taking another step on his left foot. Watch the replay again, and I'm sure you will see that play differently. It was actually rather athletic, that he threw an accurate pass, and avoided landing on the injured ankle.

Yeah he hurt it going up - my bad on the wording but the rest of my statement still stands imo.
