Yeah.

Was there tape? I have been saying this is the only difference. The first tape was the only reason Rice got 2 games.

And the pictures are the only reason Peterson is on the "exempt list", whatever the heck that is.

That's my whole point...

people needed a tape to think it's wrong for the NFL to allow players that beat women in their league making millions.

You need a tape to understand what it means for a man to knock a woman out to get angry about it? (general "You", not you specifically )

Pathetic.

pacman jones punched a woman in her face last year on video and all he got were a bunch of guys commenting on the internet how he was just defending himself bc she initiated contact by putting a pint glass to his face ....... after he got into a verbal argument with a group of ladies who didnt know who he was and didnt want to talk to him .. after one of his buddies tries to pull him away and tell him to leave .. he decides to walk back to where the girls were and lean over the rail to continue to exchange pleasantries.

giantone - i think any NFL punishment should wait until the court proceedings are concluded but i do think the NFL should reserve the ability to discipline a player immediately if substantial evidence of guilt is available from the beginning with the option to reduce, modify or increase punishment if and when the criminal proceeding is concluded or new evidence becomes known (exculpatory or inculpatory)
