Society in this case is actually not acting inappropriately IMO which is highly unusual. There is very little hyperbole that I have seen, and no calls for massive crazy legislative movements. Simply outrage at violent actions and an apparent cover-up that followed.

But what is it you want from him ,did he make mistakes , yes ,never said he didn't, did he admit to them ,yes he did .Yet you act like you didn't know this sort of thing went on and that is what I have a problem with ,many of you want to hang him out and make him the poster boy, sorry ,won't wash .What are you going to do boycott the NFL ,not watch a game ,not shop at a store ,not buy a beer . Fans don't do that for the NBA ,MLB etc ,why is the NFL different ?
